Picking up from our battle with the Meenlocks who constantly generate fear which affects different members of the party at different times. The adventurers are not in particularly good shape. The Hag Zathool is able to transport and create copies of herself to cause confusion. This week on Dungeons and Dragons...., we eventually are able to defeat the Meenlocks with difficulty while Zathool disappears further back into her lair, with both Vorn and Agrippina being knocked out and then revived during the fight. When the Meenlocks fall we see them turn to their original form of Elhadrine like those we had met in the monastery. Lucas and Agrippina pray for the souls of their original forms. The group, after healing as best as they can, make their way up the winding stairs deeper into the lair and find themselves in a hallway with a large lichen green door in their path. After many safety checks the group make their way towards the door, when the voice of the Hag can be heard, "You can come in, the door is open.." Vandal takes initiative and bursts through the door first. We come face to face with the horrific Hag, sitting before us in a wooden chair. She tries to bargain with the group, "Good fight today. I have been watching you for a while. I will offer you a deal if you let me live", She rasps at us. "I will provide you information and the key which you seek if you want the key come and take it." With most of the group, excluding Aralon want no talk of a deal. Vandal, before Aralon can move, touches a rug on the floor which he senses is more than what it seems. It turns out to be a 'Rug of Smothering', it manages to wrap itself around him causing him to be deafened and blinded but quickly wrangles himself out of this. Vorn jumps into action and casts 'Fairy Fire' and the group begin to attack. Vorn tries to damage the Hag's Eye hoping to weaken her further but it is unsuccessful. We are able to defeat her swiftly due to our previous damage in our battle with the Meenlocks, with Aggie dealing the final blow. Before she dies, she has some words for us... To Aralon she calls, "I know you killed your family..." To Vandal, "What you seek is in the eye!" To Vorn, "They wait for you... I go to Lollith and will tell her all I have seen." To Agrippina, "Nagul wants a body for himself" as she dies, we hear a soft whispering voice from the Hag's Eyes, "A Decision has been made, we will avenge our sister. One of you....well... Sweet dreams..." Zathool's body melts and disappears leaving her tattered rags on the floor. While looking around her lair, Aralon gains a shrunken head which allows him to see and hear within 30ft. Dante finds an Oval disc which when thrown into the air spins and lights up. Thraback finds an old dusty tome which he gives Aralon to look over. He is able to recognise the tiny writing on the binding which is in numerous languages. This seems to be a collection of conversations recorded by the Hag which had taken place in a place called Daggerdale. Within the Tome is a page emblazoned with the number 48. Aralon gives the book to Agrippina who is keen to have it. As she puts this in her bag, it starts to glow causing her to become weakened and exhausted. Vandal manages to wrestle the smother rug into his backpack. We then make our way to the monastery, Agrippina is moving quite in comparison. As we leave the lair the trees and surrounding area return to their original state, no longer twisted by the foul effects of the hag. We are greeted by Nacor at the entrance of the monastery. "One of you has a shadow on your back, though I cannot tell who.It seems one of you has been selected, a dark hand will move through the group. Death is not the end" After these revelations, the group take a long-needed rest. After resting we make preparations to return to our world. Nacor bids us farewell where the Elhadrine takes us to the portal. Saying to Agrippina, "The more you learn the more dangerous you become we may have to kill you. Should you become a vessel, we would be unable to stop you... Sweet dreams to you all." As we begin to leave, Green Thorn decides to stay in the Fey Wild, we bid her farewell and hope that will meet her again. As we make our way back through the portal, Vandal loses all his memory of what took place in the Fey Wild. We fill him in as we make our way up the mountain with Gundrun. As we make our way up the mountain Vandal and Dante hear voices and investigate. They are surrounded by barbarians, they have come across a tribe that hunt orcs, specifically the BloodMoon Tribe. They want proof that we have killed some members of this Orc tribe. Other members surrounding to their camp, we find out the are the Leviathon Gang where Third Eye and their leader 12 Trees will want to speak with us. They demand we bind Thraback. As we make our way into the large tent we are presented with the large human figure of 12 Trees.
