So our session today started off with tense negotiations between Lucas, Vandal and Vorn. Vandal and Lucas wanted the return of a scimitar stolen by Vorn in order to bind the two them with Vandal's axe and the ring of Lucas's father. There was some back and forth "borrowing" until eventually a deal was signed upon between the three. Whilst this was happening, Agrippiana was consoling herself with prayer and reflection in the nearby inn and Aralon was comatose (again) from drinking too much ale (again) and had been thrown out of the inn. Shortly after the deal was made we all returned to he inn for some well earned rest. Well not all of us. Vorn as per usual had snuck out of the inn and made his way to the Sleeping Giant, the favoured tavern of the Red Brands. While listening into conversation, he was discovered by a rather inebriated Red Brand who mistook him for The Black Spider. Vorn rolled with this and the guard agreed to give us access to Trescendor Manor, our desired destination. Vorn returned to collect the rest of the group. The group decided on which rolls to play in the infiltration of the manor. Vorn of course was The Black Spider. Lucas and Aggripiana were to be his elf servants. Kang and Aralon were his magical advisors. Vandal was his guide. With Thraback being his bodyguard of course. This plan initially went smoothly. However, eventually the guard smelt a rat and became suspicious. Vandal took the initiative to grapple the guard but this ended up in a shambles with his kicking and screaming until eventually he was knocked unconscious. However, the group had failed to pay much heed to the bubbling cistern in the small room, from which and Ocre Jelly emerged. All the ruckus also attracted four more Red Brands to the scene. After a tricky battle, and the jelly being sliced into two by Vorn, eventually the group defeated the enemies. Aralon, ever curious, decided to explore one of the many barrels situated in the cellar. Likely assuming it contained wine or ale. To the exasperation of the group however it contained another Ocre Jelly. Aralon came out of these encounters rather worse for wear, having to be healed by Agrippiana more than once. Not to mention he was also shot in the back with an arrow from Lucas in the chaos. The group is eventually able to make our way up the stone steps to the door at the top, with Vandal taking the lead. He was able to ascertain a hall with a large set of double doors at the end. The door had embellished on it the image of a Diva or Angel. Lucas and Agrippiana were able to tell the group this was likely an entrance to a crypt or burial place. While Vandal made his way across the hall he activated a trap which caused the floor to fall in. He managed to cling to the ledge but Lucas and Aralon fell through but Were pulled to safety. Making our way into the room ahead the group noticed Skeletons strewn across the floor. With sarcophagi filling the room. They do not seem to be moving, at the moment.....

Until next week!
